HORRAY! Our son Jackson "Jack" Kristopher Falzon was born at 3:29 am on Tuesday July 31st (which happens to be his Aunt Shannon's birthday also). He weighed 7 lbs 15.6 oz and was 20" long. He's our little miracle baby! During the labor his heart rate kept dropping, which caused Kelsey to have to deliver wearing an oxygen mask to make sure Jack was getting enough oxygen. As it turns out, his cord was wrapped around his neck twice-this is what caused his heart rate to drop. So we thank God that we have a healthy little one!
Here is Kelsey enjoying a refreshing cup of ice chips!
This is the first picture of the little guy. Believe it or not, he wasnt crying here. He didnt have his first cry until I cut the cord. And check out the size of those feet! They are bigger than his cousin Makenzie's--and she's 7 weeks old!
I believe this was the start to his first yawn.
Time to go home! (36 hours old)
Sleeping stud...the little one, not me. I don't see the resemblence. (4 days old)
Hanging out enjoying a swing (5 days old). Jack is very alert for a newborn. He spends a lot of time listening intently and trying to focus on objects, and not much of the daytime sleeping. This makes Mommy and Daddy happy because he sleeps a good deal of the night.
