But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

Our family has been pretty busy lately, and we have been having a lot of fun! Jack is growing up so fast! He talks a lot now (finally!) and is becoming really expressive. He is good at saying "Sorry" and "thank you" and "love you" without having to be prompted. He really loves being able to get together and play with his friends. He is learning all of their names. When we drive up to church he sees the building and starts to get excited and say all of their names. He is also really good a saying "Amen!" at the end of our meal time prayers. It comes out more as "Ah, man!" It is SO funny!!

Jason is almost ready for his Ironman. We leave on the 18th go to Idaho for his race. It consists of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike, followed by a full marathon--raced in that order without a break. Sounds totally crazy doesn't it?! We're so proud of him for all of the work he has put into it and are excited to go and cheer him on. We'll also be excited when it's over and Jason doesn't have to work out like it's his part time job!

I ran my first 5K with my friend Nicole last weekend and really like it. I think I might be getting to itch to do triathlons too. I'm thinking about doing my first one in October. But it will be a cold day in you-know-where before I do an Ironman!

This first picture is of my new neice Madeleine, Andrew and Rachel's second daughter. We call her Maddie. Isn't she a doll?

They have the little carts at the new Kroger by our house. Jack LOVES to go and push the cart for me, so we go there when I have just a few things to pick up. He drives the cart like it's the stinkin Winston Cup!

Here are Jack and Makenzie sitting on her bean bag together.

Jack has started to have cereal and milk for breakfast. SO cute!

Here are Jack and some of his friends after we all met for lunch last week.

This is outside Minute Maid Park. Nicole, Jack and I before we ran the 5K.

This is Jack with a Craig Biggio cutout. He looks totally freaked out!

Jack and I down at the bayhouse last weekend. We paddled down the canal and he told me everything he saw: ducks, boats, water, etc.

This is Jack's favorite picture lately-a huge turtle that was outside on our sidewalk before church last weekend.

And one of my faves! Jack wearing my goggles!

Wow! Ya'll are some hard core athletic people! I'm so incredibly impressed, and I feel like such a lazy bum over here :) Jack is too cute for words (as always!) and Makenzie and all that hair...precious. Glad to see your family doing so well. We seriously need to catch up over this summer.
