But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

Christmas!!

Merry Christmas! We had a wonderful holiday and I hope you did too! Here are some pictures of our happy holiday.

This is our fireplace with our stockings. My best friend Kelly made our stockings for us this year. Aren't they beautiful?!

This Christmas both Andrew's family and my family drove up to Southlake to spend Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa. We stopped in Conroe at IHOP on the way on Christmas Eve for a yummy breakfast. Aren't Makenzie and Maddie the cutest nieces EVER? (Makenzie is 2 1/2 and Maddie is 11 months old.)

Haha this is Jack in the back seat. What a victory for us--he now leaves his headphones on when he watches a movie in the car so that Jason and I can still listen to the radio. YAY!

Once we got to the DFW area we drove to Plano where Rachel's brother is a firefighter. We stopped in at the fire station and he took us on a tour and let us get in the fire engine!

It started snowing just south of Dallas. By the time we got to Mom and Dad's at about 5 pm it had been snowing there all day. This was taken through the kitchen window looking into the backyard.

Maddie is my best little subject!

Christmas Eve before dinner.

Cheers! (With apple cider of course.)

Jason went out on a limb and tried coffee for the first time . Not as bad as he expected it to be all these years, but not something he wants to drink again either.

For gifts on my side of the family the adults drew names and got each other As Seen on TV gifts. This is Jason wearing his Snuggie and opening his Smooth Away! He thought it was hilarious!

Ah Maddie!

Christmas morning. It's like he doesn't know where to go next!

After breakfast once it had warmed up a bit Grandpa took the kids out to play in the snow. He went into his shop and got a piece of plywood, screwed holes in the top and added a rope. Ta da, instant sled.

Jack after a sled wipe out!

Stomping through the snow!

Mommy's turn on the sled, and of course everyone wanted to pile on.....poor Grandpa!

Don't quite know what to say about this one....

This is my brother on his childhood bike. He looks like a bear at the circus.

Jack got a Lightning McQueen bike for Christmas. Dad moved the cars out of the garage so Jack could ride despite the snow.

Haha olives.

Riding bikes outside after the snow and ice had melted a bit.

His trusty sidekick....

Watching cartoons with Grandpa Christmas night.

Haha this is awesome. Makenzie got a stroller for Christmas. Here Jack is tearing through the kitchen with it!

Sneaking candy off the gingerbread house....

After returning to Houston on Sunday we went over to Blaine and Michele's.
Nana helping Jack open his V-Tech.
"To infinity, and beyond!"

Ah bath time with tub crayons from Santa. What could be better?

Over Thanksgiving we went with Jason's family on a cruise that was such a great time! Stay tuned for a belated post of cruise pictures!
Happy New Year!
