But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

Makenzie is 3!

I noticed something funny recently when I thought about how my sister-in-law Shannon, who I met when she was 10, has now graduated high school. And my little brother is married now with two kids and one (ours) on the way....and my little niece, who I watched come into the world, is now 3. All of this has managed to happen without me aging at all. :)

Makenzie's birthday was June 18, so on June 19 we went up to Kingwood for her party. Rachel now has a cute little baby bump, and I just had to take a picture of it for two reasons. 1. To post here so all of you could see (of course). 2. To have for us to look at when we're excitedly thinking "Is this really happening?" So here's the bump and a picture of Jason, Rachel, Andrew, and I together.

Jack showing off his swimming skills....

The birthday girl in her new goggles.

Jack in mid-flight after being thrown by Andrew.

Jeremy's wife Nicole and Maddie (with Jack in the background after a wicked swim session).

Jason and Jeremy doing the grilling....those two.....(I'm shaking my head right now.)

Blowing out candles on her Dora cupcake

I'm pretty sure Jack had at least three cupcakes. He kept asking different adults for one, acting like it was his first. They learn how to work the system early!

My cute little family. Good looking boys, aren't they?

Sweet Maddie

Makenzie just loved all the clothes she got. It's so funny the difference in boys and girls even this early. When Jack gets clothes he literally tosses them aside and moves to the next present hoping for something manly to be inside.

The before....

and the after.....(look at Nicole's face. Priceless.)

Kickin back.

Pregnancy Update
Our appointment for the diagnostic ultrasound is on Thursday. I can't believe it's only 2 days away! This pregnancy is flying by! I'll post on Thursday evening once we find out if it is a boy or a girl, so check back then! Oh, and if you have any suggestions for boy names please leave them in the comments section. We have a few we like, but nothing we're ready to commit to yet.

Kyler is a cool name for a boy, but a I've heard people think it's kind of feminine. I like it though!
