We got a video camera when Jack was born, and I've been taking videos every once and a while for the last three and a half years. But they have all been sitting on the video camera. If I wanted to watch one, I had to take the camera out of the cabinet, charge the battery, and then hit play. So I decided that it was about time I took some of those videos off the camera and shared them!
This video was taken on October 24, 2009. Jack was 2 yrs 3 months old. When he was little and was getting into everything, and sometimes when I'd argue with my husband (which never happens), I would throw my hands up in the air and say "Are you kidding me?" He began to say it too. Funny how that happens. :) It was pretty hysterical, because he'd just bust out with it all the time, leaving us in stitches. It's a good thing we don't cuss. He'd surely have been saying those words too!
Watching that one makes me a tiny bit sad....you don't realize how much they're growing and developing until you watch a video like that one....sniff sniff.
Here are Jack and Sarah on December 22. Sarah had just turned a month old, and she was getting hungry. Jack decided to sing to her so she wouldn't be sad. He sings "Twinkle Twinkle" and at the end adds a line from the ABCs. It's pretty cruel to have two kid's songs with the same tune! He's such a sweet big brother., always comforting her when she cries. Lately he hugs her and says "I know baby, I know. I love you, don't cry." So cute.
