Do those words sound familiar to any other child of the 90s? "I wanna quit the gym!! I wanna quit the gym!" Friends, Season 4. As I've gone through the years, I've realized I can relate many situations in my life to Friends. And right now, I'm relating to Season 4, Episode 4, when Chandler wants to quit the gym that is automatically debiting his account; the gym to which he never goes. That is me. I am Chandler. Oh, I have the best of intentions. But ever since Little Miss was born, I've gone to the gym a whole 12 times. But every month they take $50 out of my account, $30 for membership and $20 for childcare. Try as I might, I can NOT get myself into a routine where I make it to the gym. So I now have an elliptical in the house and I have a time trial bike, but I still have the gym membership. I'm afraid to go and cancel it. Afraid that....
....they going to send out someone like this to convince me to stay. "Oh Kelsey, keep your membership and YOU can look like ME." Yeah right. I bet she's had a grand total of 0 kids come screaming out of those teeny tiny hips.
Maybe I should take a fried with me as a source of support. Or maybe not. If I remember right, that didn't work out well for Ross and Chandler.
I think I'm just going to be strong and stick to my guns. Cause I could use that extra $50 a month somewhere else, that's for sure. Wish me luck!

Funny episode! I know what you're talking about. I dropped my LA Fitness membership. Now I just buy passes to Friendswood Parks and Rec Zumba classes.
