But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

What a Cutie!

Making a post is such a challenge these days! Jack just LOVES the camera, so he always takes such good pictures. It gets pretty hard to narrow it down to the best ones! Here is what we have been up to the last few weeks:

First of all, we had Jack's 9 month appointment on Monday, May 5th. He now weighs 22 lbs 11 oz and is 30.25" long. That is 95th percentile for his age, and is the size of an average 13 month old. He still has no teeth, but she said that it looks like the bottom two will soon break through the gums. He's eating table food now and really likes it!

Now for the pictures!

Jack likes to get into small places. One morning he found himself under one of the bar stools.

Here is yet another strange place the kiddo decided to fall asleep....

A few weeks ago I got Jack a seat for the back of my bike. He LOVES it. This picture was taken before we got him a helmet. He now wears a helmet on the bike, but it is still kinda big and sometimes falls down over his little face.

These are pictures taken in our front flower beds of a big turtle that likes to chill out in the cool mulch.

We recently went to Jason's sister's drill team's Spring Show (she is a sophomore in high school). This is Jack after the show wearing Aunt Shannon's hat. He was SO sleepy..his face is saying: "Not now people, please!"

April 26th was our friend Reo's nephew's 4th birthday party in Chappell Hill. Here are CJ and Jack playing.

This is Jack after a taste of frosting.

And Jack and I with our blue stained mouths.

The Cooks have a pool. I didn't bring Jack's suit because it was April and still cool out, but he didn't care...he wanted to swim anyway!

Reo on one of his dad's horses.

Jason on the same horse. I think he has a future in the rodeo.

First baseball cap!

Big kiss from mommy.

Yum, banana slices!

Jack in his new car seat. His doctor said he was ready for the next step in car seats, and that he's strong enough to face forward. Whoo hoo!
