But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

Summer Fun

We have been having such a great time so far this summer! As usual, Jack is my little Joy Boy and is growing like crazy. Here are some of his recent adventures:

A visit to see Grandma and Grandpa (my parents) in May.
Jack swinging in their backyard.

Walking with Grandpa and playing on the kitchen floor with Grandma.

Enjoying a morning beverage with Grandpa in his chair.

This was taken just after Mother's Day. This is Jack with his Aunt Shannon (Jason's sister). Jack and Shannon share a birthday.

Many of our weekends lately have been spent at the lake with friends. Jack LOVES to drive the boat. When you take him out of the seat so someone can actually drive, he throws a fit!

He also loves to drive the car.

This was taken at the pool in our neighborhood. Jack is turning into a fish-he loves the water!

Cracking up while reading a story with Daddy.

Too cute!

Jack has gotten really good at pushing his walkers as he walks behind them.

Our friends Jeremy and Nicole visited over Memorial weekend. Jeremy thought it would be funny to put Jack's hand in his pocket.

On Sunday after church Jeremy proposed to Nicole. Here they are right afterward.

Another trip to the lake. Nathan and his Coke.

Jack, Nicole Smith, and I on the surf board.

Jack asleep with his HEB balloon.

Jack loves Wiley!

If you look closely you can see dog tongue in contact with baby face. Yuck!

Jack hurt his chin the other day while playing. This is the band-aid followed by the picture of the owie.

Daddy's gel makes a good baby mohawk.

Yesterday after I inflated Jack's new pool followed by him playing in it. If you look closely in the last picture you can see his one tooth.

Jason and Kelsey,
Congratulations on a wonderful first year! Jack's obviously the beneficiary of much love and lots of time well spent. Keep the updates coming.

Great update! Thanks for the card! Our anniversary was sort of lame. We stayed home and watched our new Corgi, Radar. We'll probably do something a tad more fancy this next weekend. Jack certainly is growing. He is such a happy guy! Whatever you two are doing, keep it up! I'd like to see you guys soon!
