But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

Early Summer

Since my last post was in June, I need to get everyone caught up on what has been happening in the exciting life of Jack!

Some oh-so-cute shots of Jack in his pool in the backyard--he's in charge of the hose.

Going to pick up Jason and Mr. Nathan at work for dinner.

Daddy and Nathan were in the back seat with Jack....

Probably one of the last times Jack will fall asleep in Daddy's lap on the couch. He's getting to be such a big boy! So sweet!

Okay, this is a new method of crawling he discovered. Jack realized that if he put his hands on a book and just moved his knees, crawling was half the work. Some might say it's lazy, we call it efficiency!

First swimming lesson! Jack LOVES the pool. He will jump of the side to me, put his own face in the water, and doesn't mind at all if you dunk him. He comes up smiling!

Wasn't a big fan of floating on his back.

One day after I was finished vacuuming his room I found Jack in his bathroom, no doubt hiding form the noisy vacuum.

In mid June Jason played drums in a friend's band. Jack went to watch and even got to play a little. Isn't Jack's shirt the cutest? It says "I'm With The Band."

Then Jason took Jack for his first skateboard ride.

Jack with Aunt Shannon and his cousins in Nana's pool.

Riding his bike. Jack loves his bike. In fact, I think he has about 7 different toys he can ride!

Sitting with Grandpa when he and Grandma came to visit in late June.

First time brushing his teeth!

Using tennis shoes and a bucket to play drums.

Going down the slide in the sand box at Lupe Tortilla--with Daddy's help of course!

In early July Jack learned how to take his diaper off. I can no longer let him walk around with now pants, because he'll take it off every time!

Haha! When Jack was learning to walk, he would walk with his hands straight up in the air. It was the most adorable thing!

Two firsts in one day. First kids meal (at Chick-fil-A) and first juice box. Life doesn't get much better than that.

Stay tuned for a mid summer instalment of the Jack Chronicles!
