But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

Mid Summer-Montana Trip

Well here I am with another summer catch-up update. We have been really busy around here, and lately I have started to feel a bit worse so things are running me down! Jack is one busy little boy, and I have felt a little nauseated the last few days. On top of that, yesterday I got a cold. Bummer!

Here is Jack on the plane with his little snack on his tray.

On our first day in Kalispell we spent the night with Andrew, Rachel, and Makenzie and went to the water park the next day. Here are my brother and I with the kids.
Jack with his Dad getting ready to have Grizzly Burgers by the fire!

After lunch we took a hike around the lake. Here's a view from the other side looking back in the direction of the camp site.

Looks like the kid could fall asleep! Isn't that a cool Spidey cup?!

Jack and Grandma!

Okay guys, the next three pictures are MAJOR! My mother hates the water. I have never in my life seen her in a boat without a motor, nor have I seen her get into water that isn't a shallow swimming pool. And here she is, getting into a kayak with the rest of us to go out fishing on the lake. GO MOM!

By the time we got to the middle of the lake Jack was asleep.

Ohmygosh, the funniest face! We call it the "cheese" face. When we say cheese Jack will stick out his bottom jaw and squinch up his eyes and make the funniest little smile. What a ham!

Jason and Dad went on several guy outings during the week. This is the lookout that was on one of their hikes. Jason in good form.

Sow in July. You've gotta be kidding me!

Jack getting off the front step. This is about two weeks before he learned to walk.

Getting snacks from Grandma.

Climbing on the hearth. A major no-no. And somewhere between the previous picture and this one Jack lost his pants. I just hate it when that happens!

Grandpa let Jack help drive down the driveway at the cabin to the street. Whoo-hoo!

That cheese face again!

Another hike Dad and Jason took. Lunch caught and prepared on the mountain.

Jack and Kenz enjoying a little Sprite.

My brother and I before our parents night out. My mom and dad offered to watch the babies overnight and we went out to dinner and bowling.

Kenz looks like she just got caught doing something....

Such a pretty face! I've told Rachel a million times that if I have a little girl, she will be 4 before she has as much hair as Kenz did at one!

Partners in crime! Jack's going to miss Kenz when they move into their apartment on Saturday!

I love your pictures from Montana! But wait just a second....Andrew is married? With a baby?! Wow. I feel so incredibly old...

I'm glad you all are back safe in Houston. And CONGRATULATIONS on Baby #2!!! I am so happy for you!

I'm so excited you've updated again! Jack cracks me up. Love his little personality! Abby just went on her first boat ride this past weekend. She definitely is not as "comfortable" with the life jacket as Jack is. She gets so angry and tries pulling it off. And falling asleep? ha! She is so particular...her bed is the only place that will do for a nap! And your brother's daughter...so pretty! And all that hair really is amazing :-)
