But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
That'd be the slogan of P90-X, the wicked intense at home workout program I've decided to torture myself with. I've been working out 4-5 days a week for over a year now and consider myself pretty fit, but there seem to be a few areas that aren't as easy to slim down as they were when I was 20. When Jason and I started dating, we'd stop several times a week for McDonald's on the way to the ski lake. I quickly made a new friend: 40 extra pounds. With a lot of what I call "wogging" I was quickly able to slim back down. Fast forward 7 years and two kids...as much as I still feel like I'm 20, I'm totally NOT. It's almost like when you become pregnant, 5 extra pounds makes a nice cozy home on your hip/thigh region. Not so cute in skinny jeans. So hopefully P90-X will help. I did Day 1 today, which was the Chest and Back and Ab Ripper DVDs. And the sorest part of my body is my legs. Go figure.
So, after 90 days, I will either look like Jillian.......
I'm Kelsey, and I'm a Christian wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend. I'm not a scrapbooker. I'm not a Pinterest mom. I didn't finish either of my kids' baby books. My wedding memories and scrapbook stuff are in a Target bag in a closet in my back room. My baked goods usually come prepackaged from the grocery store (Gasp! Sorry Mom.) But what I can do is talk. And type. And write. So here's my version of a scrapbook. A way to keep my memories all neat and in one place. Thank you for reading, and enjoy!
