But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

Randomness

I have so many pictures I still haven't posted from the second half of 2010. So here they are, in no particular order whatsoever. This post is total randomness. I would post a few pictures and think "Oh, yeah, I want to make sure to post those too. And those. And those. " This is totally against my usual type A style. Most posts are in complete chronological order, but this one is chaos!

Rachel and I at Sarah's baby shower in August. What a sweetheart she is!

My good friend Tammy. She and her family are moving to Mississippi as soon as the house sells...so sad! Jack is going to miss her daughter Laney.

I told you. Randomness. In late October I took Jack to the creek about half a mile from the house to take some pictures. He was on a bridge over the creek and I was down near the bank taking pictures up at him. He suddenly points and says "Oh no Mommy look!" I turn and see this guy:

A look further downstream reveals another one. There were two alligators in the creek that morning! Yikes! It didn't stop the photo shoot though, we just stayed on the bridge from then on. I'm sure glad my kid's got my back. :)

Jack and the cuzs on Halloween. Makenzie found Jack's Buzz costume from last year and wore it all afternoon!

When we tried to get a picture of all four kids Maddie and Caleb were not cooperating. In fact, they were both screaming! (And Maddie was upside down.)

Yesterday I got Sarah's car seat installed in the car. So cute!

Jack and Daddy making pancakes. We were making breakfast for dinner. Pancakes and bacon aren't cooked in our house often, so I had to get pictorial evidence.

LOL. Jason's ankle after a bee sting. He was stung mowing the lawn and then ran on it. The nurse at the Redi Clinic said when he ran that evening he spread the poison around to his entire lower leg, causing a huge swelling problem!

Jack's costume parade at school.

Jack and his best buddy Luke at school painting a box for the Thanksgiving food train.

A couple of cute pictures we got at Kelsey and Bryan's wedding.

Grandma when they came to visit in October. (I also tried to post another one with Grandpa, and one of Jack at school in his cute backpack, but I guess Blogger didn't like those ones.)

My sweet friend Val and I last week at Feast with the Beasts. I look like a tree in this picture. Should have rethought those 3" heeled boots.

LOVE these four pictures. This is Jack and Makenzie at the zoo in April 2009.

......and in October 2010. They're getting so big, and are still best friends!

Here are Jason and Jack at Hollywood Studios when we went to Disney World in April 2009.

And here is Jack in the exact same spot when we went to Disney World in October. He's totally lost all of that sweet baby fat...a full fledged member of the Boy Club now!

I CAN NOT pass a Starbucks without stopping. If I have an addiction, it's probably Starbucks. Here's Jack with his very own first Starbucks drink, a hot chocolate. Gotta groom the next generation, ya know?

When we went to Nathan and Nicole's last time Jack came out of Caleb's room with books. He sat down next to Caleb and started to read them to him. SO adorable! What a good big brother he will be!

Showing him the pictures...about 2 mm from his face!

Steve, Val and I took our kids to Dewberry Farm outside Katy in mid October. Jason was helping a friend record in the studio so he couldn't make it. We had a blast though!

Jack, Aiden, and Abbey. Aiden, not so happy.

These two are totally getting married someday.

Jack and I on a slide made out of PVC pipe. We smoked down that slide. So fast that when I landed at the bottom I almost did a full flip over the top of my kid. I'm pretty sure that if this place was in the city limits and subject to stricter safety codes, they would have to close!

The Zoo Boo with our friends: Abbey, Jack, Laney, and Makenzie

It's amazing how impossible it becomes to get a good picture when you throw another kid in it.

Wheew. That one was exhausting. Hope you enjoyed my randomness.

We are now just a few days away from Sarah's arrival. I have everything ready to go. Car seat in, bags by the door! SO excited for these blog posts to have her pictures in them too!!
