Ryan, Monster Jam, Sarah, and Bloopers

Tuesday February 8th was Ryan's birthday. This year that's what I tried to focus on; rather than the second anniversary of the accident, I tried to focus on the fact that it was Ryan's birthday. So to celebrate his birthday, I decided to make something to celebrate all three of our beautiful babies. So naturally, I went to Hobby Lobby. I got a shadow box and inside I put 5 things: Jack's tiny hospital t-shirt, Sarah's tiny hospital hat, and the three tiny bracelets that were put on the kids in the hospital. When I was finished, I put the shadow box between Jack and Sarah's footprint plates.

On his way home from work on Tuesday Jason stopped and got me some flowers. Such a sweet husband!

We are doing well two years after the accident. We are SO very blessed in our lives, and we also have the comfort of knowing where Ryan is. We look forward to seeing him someday, and it is my prayer that someday Jason and I will get to hold hands with all of our children in Heaven.

Monster Jam

Well, that's quite a segue.... :)

In January Jason bought tickets for he and his dad to take Jack to Monster Jam in Houston. Then Jack got a super high fever that hung on for several days, so we ended up giving the tickets to our neighbors across the street so the dad could take his two boys. Well, lucky for my boys, Monster Jam came back to town on February 5th. I'm pretty sure that Blaine and Jason enjoyed it at least as much as Jack, maybe even more! Jack went to church and school and told pretty much everyone who would listen about his Monster Jam experience!

We laughed and laughed about this last night! Jack and I laughed so hard we cried, and Jason laughed as he and shook his head at us. What a crazy wife and kid he has. :) Ohmygoodness, how funny that kid can be!!
